Oh Christmas Tree

A white cake stacked in single layers from nine inch to three inch with white whipped meringue buttercream covered in green fondant with a bit of buttercream snow and sparkle sugar ice crystals and topped with a fondant star.  For the 'lights' on the tree I used red and gold sugar pearls.

A Red Hat For Christmas

A christmas hat.  Under the red rolled fondant is a layer of confetti cake surrounding a rich white chocolate cheesecake filling.  The pom pom and band around the bottom of the hat is white chocolate ganache piped to look a bit furry.

Happy Birthday Chad

For my son-in-law Chad a rich dark chocolate cake, filled with a whipped coffee meringue buttercream and covered with rolled fondant.  The golf balls are rice cereal treats.

Happy Birthday Tyler

A red velvet hockey puck with white chocolate ganache, covered in vanilla flavored candy clay. If they can't have hockey, let them eat cake.

Happy Birthday Abbey girl

For a little princess, a rainbow cake with whipped meringue buttercream covered in fondant.  The birthday girl was suitably impressed when she was introduced to 'Princess Blue'.

Happy Birthday Brian--this Bud's for you

For my son-in-law, Brian, a dark chocolate cake filled with whipped peanut butter buttercream and covered in fondant.  The foam on the beer is hazelnut buttercream.  The beer can suspended in mid air seems like magic even to me, and I know how its done.

I've got a bit of catching up to do

First there was a cobra for Nicholas.  Chocolate cake with bubble gum flavored buttercream and a rice cereal cobra.

Then there was a princess cake for a little princess.

Then it was Austin's birthday and his aunt Bekki thought he was deserving of a very special cake.  It looks to me like he was pleased with the result:

And finally, there was a red velvet birthday cake that I call "petals and pearls" for a very dear friend whose birthday I had forgotten.  Happy birthday Suz. . .
